My friend may be anorexic?

Basically, my friend Molly has always been "big boned". A bit overweight, a bit pudgy, only just verging on fat and a size 16 - not that a size 16 is fat, but for her height it made her quite large.

A few months ago she decided that she was going to change all that, and my friends and I were supportive of this, and now - about six months down the line - she has lost a considerable amount of weight, now being a size 12/14 and visibly a lot slimmer. The rest of my friends and I think that she looks fab and should not try to lose any more weight as she's naturally voluptuous and is never going to be skinny, which wouldn't suit her anyway most likely.

However, Molly has other ideas and is still dieting, but to a scary extent: she seems to know the calories in everything, never finishes a meal and clams up when you talk about food to her. To my horror, last week she told me that there are days when she will only eat an apple, some virtually-no-fat crackers and only half her tea in the evening, and normally only consumes 600-800 calories a day, stating that she wouldn't eat over 800. As a result of this, her parents are terrified and think she is anorexic, and as a result are trying to give her more food. Molly rejects this by never finishing her food and complaining about them trying to give her too much. I have expressed my concerns about her dietary habits but to no avail. She goes to the gymn for hours a week and attends spinning classes.

Despite all this, the two most shocking things she has done concerning her diet have been a) when the once chocolate loving Molly saw a cookie my friend was eating and disgustedly said that it was no more than a lump of sugar and fat... I mean, there's nothing wrong with trying to eat less of these things, but it was like she was a different person. And b) to my absolute horror she FAINTED last week, and barely sleeps.

I think that she may be anorexic and am TERRIFIED. She's stubborn as a mule and won't listen to anyone, and this is - so I've read - characteristic of those suffering from the illness.
Please help - she's my best friend and I am so scared I'm going to lose her

If she's a minor, her parents can force her into treatment, but it would be best if she herself recognized she has a problem and needs help. The most important tip I can offer is to be there for her, making sure she knows you care and that you won't sit idly by while she destroys herself. Best wishes for both of you.

Mac Repair Help!!!!!?

My Apple Macbook Pro 15 inch has recently encountered an accidental spilling of 7up all over the key board area practically saturating it. It somehow turned on and worked afterward. Although the only thing is that the keys hardly come up after they have been pressed in. I have now taken it apart and have the keyboard unit detached. I was wondering if it would be ok to submerge the keyboard in water to make it so the keys would not stick but was wondering if that would ruin the entire thing.
Or if there are any other ways to fix the key board without buying a new one please let me know. Thanks :)

Any type of liquid can potentially kill a laptop, even it is just a keyboard.

Personally I would just go to an apple store and just get the laptop keyboard replaced.

I do not recall opening any strange emails which may have lead to this. I have already changed all my passwords. Does anybody know what caused this? And whether it is over now or if I should still be worried?

your best bet is to do exactly what you just did...
changing your password.

also make sure you fully scan your system with your antivirus antimalware antispyware programs...
so that way you can rule out or delete any browser objects, malware, etc... that might be causing any security problems

What are good brand pellets/foods for parakeets?!?

I Prefer Exact and Zupreem pellets ( in the same bowl) For my parakeet! if your parakeet doesn't like them because their small you can use the cockatiels because they are a little bigger! (just depends if your bird likes small or large food) Also remember to have other bowls with Seed and veggies in it! i recommend the Mixed veggies in a bag corn, peas and carrots diced (frozen section) And add a organic fruit like apples (diced). Its a good group of veggies just thaw them out and serve to your bird in small amounts! If anyone wants to share brands or even toys or anything else about parakeets on here please do! If I was naming pellets Exact would not even be on my list. I dont like the way it looks or tastes (yes I taste any new food for my birds. ) and I have never heard any of the bird vets I have used mention Exact. I use Harrison's, Zupreem and a special diet Roudybush for one of my birds. Lafebers and roudybush are very good.
